Hey, I took a vacation to Singapore and Malaysia with my family in April 2016. It was one of the most amazing vacations ever. The people in the two countries were extremely kind and helped us whenever we felt lost. Ever since I’ve been bitten by the travel bug, getting away on weekends, to explore, has been a constant thing. The outfit I wore when we went shopping in Malaysia is my favourite. These days everyone seems much in love with skater, lace and frilled skirts, but this Aztec print B/W short skirt is very cute too. I ordered this teal top from Myntra. The unique colour of this top glues eyes because you don’t see it often. If you wear a colour like that, it is smart to pair it up with something that doesn’t overpower the look (Exceptions do exist). I have carried a small brown sling during the entire trip. It makes running around easier. The golden necklace was added to complete the look. Thank You for reading this post. All comments, questions and suggestions would be appreciated. If you happen to own something in this color, click a picture and tag me, if you wish, on instagram - @ishadara or send it to personally - Check the CONTACT page. Hey,
It is great to see how people are welcoming new trends. Be it chokers, off-shoulders, cold-shoulders or something else, they spread like fire. However, there is one trend going unnoticed that not many people know about but is too cool to miss out on. This is a blend of a shirt and a one shoulder top. This is a one shoulder statement shirt that looks hotter than you can imagine! It looks like a shirt cut diagonally from one shoulder to bare the other. The one I am wearing is cropped and has a side knot. I called this look Pseudo Formal because of the edge that has been given to a basic shirt. Try this style to take your outfit to another level and you can tell me in the comment section below about how you like this look. To keep all the focus on the shirt, the only accessory I’ve worn is a yellow moustache ring which does not overpower the look. I’m wearing gold studs to complete the pseudo formal look. Blue and white strips with white pants are a classic combination that you can’t go wrong with. Thank You for reading this post. All comments, questions and suggestions would be appreciated. Lakmè Eyeconic White Kajal – White kajals are believed to give an illusion of bigger eyes and it’s true. If applied correctly, it gives a pretty fresh look to the face. I love my makeup but I am not somebody who lives in makeup. Most days I don’t wear any. If you don’t want to overdo your eyes, glide on your white kajal and you’re good to go. This kajal is water proof and smudge-free as it claims to be but the 10 hour stay claim? Oh pfft! It is milky white but isn’t matte, which is a good thing. The very fine shimmer particles in it give an amazing effect. Thanks to that, it can also be used as a highlighter on the brow bone and inner corners of eyes. It completes a heavy eye makeup look like a pro at an affordable cost. But, when I have watery eyes, I need 3-4 strokes to get it perfect. Not just that, it sticks to my eye lashes after application which never happens with the black one. But it is pretty good and very versatile (try using as eye-shadow base) and has therefore, found place in my makeup favorites list. Rating – 3.5/5 |
